I am an award winning textile artist, living and working in County Durham.

 

My work explores the creation and expression of identity I enjoy using shape and pattern, raised and textured surfaces.

 

I work with printed and bonded papers and fabric surfaces that when combined with machine and hand stitch create richly detailed and tactile surfaces.

 

I run a program of workshops and illustrated talks. These cover design for stitch, practical art and stitch based skills.

 

I exhibit my work with Fusion textile artists and InterfaceArts and my work has featured in Stitch, Classic Stitches and Flair Magazines.
